Dr Hotak comes from a strong background in healthcare, private equity investments and social entrepreneurship. He is a strong tri-sector leader with extensive experience in the public, private and non-governmental sectors. As a serial entrepreneur, he is the Founder of Central and South Asia Business, London Partners Corporation, British Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Afghan Business Association UK and Afghana Foundation. He is a national and internationally renowned speaker on Afghanistan in the media, conferences and seminars.
Dr Hotak holds an MBChB in Medicine from Leeds Medical School and certificates in International Organization Management, Smart Business Growth, Globalization and Leadership.
Ms Agarwal comes from a strong background in management buyouts, private equity and debt transactions. She leads Afghanistan Investment Fund’s strategy and investment committees. Prior to joining Afghanistan Investment Fund, she worked for Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs in its mergers and acquisitions department for over 15 years.
Ms Agarwal holds a BSc in Finance from London School of Economics and Political Science, and an MBA from Stanford University.
Mr Hardy is a seasoned Private Equity expert and leads Afghanistan Investment Fund’s investment activities in the oil, gas and natural resources sector. Prior to joining Afghanistan Investment Fund he worked at Morgan Stanley & Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York in their Global Energy and Mergers and Acquisitions departments.
Mr Hardy holds a BA in Business Management and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr Wilson is a chartered accountant with a strong background with over 10 years’ experience in finance, audit and consultancy across the UK banking and financial sector. Before joining Afghanistan Investment Fund, he worked for Deloitte, PwC and Lloyds Banking group, where he was a director specialising in financial services.
Mr Wilson holds a BSc in Accounting & Finance from University of Leeds.
